Every month since the beginning of this war Christians for Ukraine have sent out humanitarian aid to 100 military families who temporarily live in the western part of Ukraine. In May they received 1100 kg of humanitarian aid, which consisted of food, hygiene products and household chemicals.
Churches and volunteers put the Prayer Book into the sets of humanitarian aid consisting of food, clothing and basic necessities for refugees or internally displaced persons and also for the Ukrainian Army soldiers
The God’s Light Church (Lublin, Poland), a network partner of the Christians for Ukraine International Initiative, rented another house, which will become a temporary shelter for another 25 refugees from Ukraine.
During the April, Christians for Ukraine International Initiative have sent 4 trucks of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Also we bought a van VW T5 for chaplaincy ministry in Kyiv region.
In March 2022, were sent about 35 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, thus helping about 2,000 people.
The pocket prayer book contains the spiritual hymn of Ukraine “God the Great, the One”, several psalms, biblical stories and 10 different prayers, namely: prayer for Ukraine, victory, protection, army, government and healing; prayers of a soldier and a refugee, “The Lord’s Prayer” and a prayer of repentance.
