2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine
Our goal is to help as many people as possible who are suffering from the war in Ukraine
This has caused a humanitarian crisis, especially in the occupied eastern territories and in cities where fierce fighting is taking place. As a result of the actions of Putin’s regime, hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing either abroad or to safer regions in Ukraine. However, many still remain in the war zone, simply unable to flee. Their lives remain in great danger.
our mission
From West to East and from East to West
Love of neighbour and faith in God’s justice and mercy motivates us to help Ukrainians who are in great need.
The Christians for Ukraine international initiative was launched to support the Ukrainian people during this crisis. It brings together a variety of Christian communities from Poland, Ukraine, and the West.
The city of Lublin in eastern Poland has become our headquarters to oversee this international initiative and coordinate delivery of vital supplies and medicine. Local and foreign churches, Christian non-profit organizations, various professionals, and people of goodwill have joined us to readily serve with dedication and to save as many people as possible from this misery.
Collecting humanitarian aid in Poland and delivering it to the people in Ukraine. Both civilians and territorial defence forces have a great need for first aid, warm clothing, hygiene parcels, and medicines. These items will be delivered specially to the regions where there is already a humanitarian crisis or this crisis is brewing.
Welcoming refugees from Ukraine in Poland for temporary shelter or longer stay. We are helping meet all the material and spiritual needs of these people.
