At the end of May Christians for Ukraine International, thanks to your donations, sent 700 kg of food to Ostroh city. There were food for 70 people in need who are cared for by the local Vefil church.
Another 19 tons of humanitarian aid arrived to the city of Uman and there were distributed by the Reconciliation Church. Food, personal care products and diapers cover the needs of 1200 people for a whole week or 600 people for two weeks. The aid was sponsored by the European Mission Fellowship from Great Britain.
The Christians for Ukraine International Initiative is trying to quickly respond to emerging needs for certain products. For example, now in Ukraine there is a shortage of table salt, so salt has been added to food packages. Food sets are collected based on a person’s daily calorie needs, so the sets include a complete set of various products needed for 2 weeks for 1 person (or 1 week for 2 adults). In particular our sets includes buckwheat (1 kg), rice (1 kg), pasta, vegetable oil and canned food: meat / fish, beans, corn, green peas, pate, ketchup, tea, cocoa, cookies, chocolate.
